This course is designed for workplaces and community settings where early intervention and awareness are essential.
Aims
To equip learners with the confidence and skills to recognise mental health issues and provide appropriate initial support.
Skills Practised
This practical course supports learners to:
- Recognise common mental health conditions
- Identify signs of stress, anxiety, and depression
- Respond appropriately to mental health concerns
- Use active listening and supportive communication
- Support individuals in crisis situations
- Know when to seek professional help
Note: Skills are developed through interactive discussions, case studies, and scenario-based learning.
Learning Outcomes
