The Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health Training Programme provides learners with essential knowledge and understanding to recognise and respond to mental health conditions in the workplace and community. This course helps build awareness, reduce stigma, and support early intervention.
Aims
To equip learners with the awareness and confidence to recognise signs of poor mental health and respond appropriately and supportively.
Skills Practised
This practical course supports learners to:
- Recognise common mental health conditions
- Identify signs of stress, anxiety, and depression
- Respond appropriately to mental health concerns
- Use active listening and supportive communication
- Understand when to seek further professional help
- Promote positive mental health awareness
Note: Skills are developed through guided discussion, case studies, and interactive scenarios.
